Invincible Month

To coincide with the release of Season 4 of Invincible and Battle Beast #8, Image Comics will be launching an exciting array of variant covers across multiple titles. These special variants will showcase iconic characters from the Invincible Universe.

Marvel Ultimates Universe is REBORN

No, the Ultimate Universe is coming back (I give it six more months before it returns), but in the meantime, Marvel is releasing a five-issue series titled Reborn: Ultimate Impact that connects directly to Ultimate Spider-Man: Incursion. Written by Chris Condon with art by Stefano Caselli, this series will explore the impact the Ultimate Universe has had on the mainline Marvel Universe (Earth-616).

New DC Supergirl Series

DC has announced Supergirl: The World, an exciting new anthology series! Following in the footsteps of DC's successful Superman: The World, Batman: The World, and Joker: The World anthologies, this 184-page hardcover features original Supergirl stories from creators in 15 countries. The concept follows Kara Zor-El as she travels the globe learning about her adopted home while saving lives, with each country contributing its own unique cultural perspective and artistic style.
Supergirl: The World releases June 2nd, 2026

Assorted Crisis #8 goes back to print!

After a rapid sellout and soaring aftermarket prices, Image Comics is heading back to press to reprint the highly sought-after Assorted Crisis Events #8! This special reprint will also be printed on newsprint paper. If you missed your chance to pick up the first print, be sure to ask your local comic shop to reserve a copy for you. The newsprint edition will not be available again after this!

The Cosmere will hit the big screen

Brandon Sanderson and Apple TV are teaming up to bring the Cosmere to life with an exciting new movie and television deal. Sanderson is renowned for his literary epics as well as his graphic novels, many of which are set within the Cosmere universe. Mistborn will be adapted into a feature film, while The Stormlight Archive is slated to become a TV series. As a massive fan of Sanderson myself, I’ve long hoped to see the Cosmere explored in new formats. Now, if only we could get that Mistborn video game…
Sex Criminals hitting a streaming serice near you!

Matt Fraction and Chip Zdarsky’s iconic comic Sex Criminals is also being adapted into an Amazon Prime TV series. Ordered for eight episodes, the adaptation will star Kumail Nanjiani, who is also serving as one of the show’s co-creators.
For those unfamiliar with Sex Criminals, the premise centers on Suze and Jon, who discover they have a unique ability: whenever they have sex, time stops. This leads to a series of bizarre and intriguing situations throughout the comic. I’m curious to see how this concept will translate to a television adaptation!

My Pick of the Week

It was a tough week to choose, with Absolute Batman, Absolute Wonder Woman, and the new Iron Man series all competing for attention. But I was finally able to get my copy of this phenomenal issue, and Deniz Camp, once again, delivers a masterclass in storytelling. Each issue keeps getting better, and since the series doesn’t have deep continuity ties, it’s an excellent standalone read. I’m begging you—go read Assorted Crisis Events.
