The New Gods are back!

After a fantastic 12-issue run by Ram V and Evan Cagle from 2025–2026, DC is returning to the Fourth World! Co-written by Ram V and Alex Paknadel, with art by Joan Urgell and colors by Romulo Fajardo Jr., the journey continues in the upcoming one-shot DC All In Saga: The New Gods #1.
I'm beyond excited for more New Gods, and with DC Studios developing the Mister Miracle series, here's hoping we see even more of these iconic characters across the board!

D'Orc is coming to the big screen

Sony has officially secured the live-action film rights to Brett Bean’s breakout series D’Orc! It’s been an absolute hit since debuting earlier this year, so seeing it get picked up is great news. Still, with only nine issues out, I’m genuinely curious to see how Sony plans to adapt it. And as excited as I am, live-action is... certainly a choice for a world that screams animation.

Missing Lanterns? Green Lantern is back

DC is launching a wild new Elseworlds series: Green Lantern: Doomed Cosmos, a six-issue epic from writer Dan Watters and artist Kyle Hotz.
The twist? Humanity is the villain. The Empire of Humanity has spent centuries conquering the galaxy, and a heavily militarized Green Lantern Corps is all that stands against them. Hal Jordan—betrayed by his battle-brother Oliver Queen and left for dead—is rescued and deprogrammed by the Corps, becoming the first human to ever wage war against his own species.
I always love a bold Elseworlds concept, and this sounds fun. I'll definitely be adding it to my pull list!

2027 is the year of Wonder!

For Wonder Woman’s 85th anniversary, DC has declared 2027 the "Year of Wonder"—a full twelve months dedicated to Diana of Themyscira!
The celebration officially kicks off on January 20 with Wonder Woman #41, as industry legend Louise Simonson makes her main-series debut alongside artist Cian Tormey for a four-issue arc centered on Diana fighting to dismantle the Amazon Safety Act. Following that, Stephanie Williams and Elena Casagrande step in for a six-issue arc, with plenty more creative teams and storylines slated to drop throughout the year.

My Pick of the Week

I’ve been chipping away at my backlog this week and finally cracked into G. Willow Wilson’s incredible Poison Ivy run. I’m not completely finished with it yet, but the deluxe edition format is gorgeous—and I’ll most definitely be picking up Vol. 2 next year.
