RIP Patrick Stewart
In case you missed the heartbreaking news, legendary stage and screen icon Sir Patrick Stewart passed away this week at age 86. A definitive presence across sci-fi and superhero cinema for decades, his upcoming role in Avengers: Doomsday will serve as his final on-screen appearance.
Absolute Catwoman Has Been Extended!
Perhaps not a surprise given how well DC and the Absolute line have been performing, but always great to see—especially with the original creative team of writers Che Grayson and Scott Snyder and artist Bengal continuing with the book! IDW is getting a new imprint!
White Ash Comics is officially joining IDW as a dedicated imprint. After raising over $1 million on Kickstarter for its urban fantasy saga set in a mysterious Pennsylvania mining town, co-creators Charlie Stickney and Conor Hughes are bringing the universe to local comic shops. The direct-market rollout kicks off with an ongoing White Ash #1 in April, followed by The Game #1 in June and spinoff miniseries starting with Glarien: Short and Deadly in September.

My Pick of the Week
Two years and 25 issues later, Absolute Batman is bigger than ever. What a fantastic run, and issue #25 has some exciting story beats and teases for what's to come! With over a hundred variants for this issue, I picked up this one from the MannBoyz, which is an absolute stunner.
